GO TIONG SIEW

Go Tiong Siew is the Founder of Messrs Go Tiong Siew & Associates. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom in 1995 and subsequently qualified as a Barrister-at-Law in Lincoln’s Inn in 1997. 

Upon his return to Malaysia, he read in the Chambers of Datuk Abdul Raman Hj. Saad at Messrs Abdul Raman Saad & Associates in Johor Bahru. He was then duly admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya at Melaka on 30th May 1998 and commenced practice as a sole proprietor on 15th August 1998.

Throughout his practice, Mr. Go has also succeeded in assisting clients in litigation disputes such as Recovery of Debts, action for Goods Sold and Delivered/Services rendered, Hire Purchase Disputes, action for Rightful Compensation for Unlawful Dismissal of an Employee, and Termination of Fixed Tenancy Agreement without claim for remaining rental.

In June 2001, Mr. Go decided to expand his practice and formed Puan Zuraini Binti Mat Zain as Partner of the Firm.

Mr Go believes in constantly updating and learning the latest law in particularly with issues relating to land, property development and high rise building management by attending courses. He also attended a course on ‘The Shariah Principles & Structuring and Preparing Legal Documentation for Islamic Banking’ organized by Emerge Knowledge Connection Sdn Bhd.

Mr. Go is also actively involved in The Malacca Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) and was elected as the Director since 2015. He is currently the Secretary General for MCCCI and also the National Council Member of The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (ACCCIM).
